About Luke Buck Luke Buck, a native "Hoosier", grew up in Indiana with a love for life, art and nature that is evident in his nostalgic paintings of Americana landscapes and wildlife. Raised in a family of artists, Buck's education and influence came primarily from the training he received from his father Harold Buck, with whom he shared a studio for many years. He earned a scholarship while attending Arsenal Technical High School, studying figure drawing at the John Heron Art Institute (IN). Buck's art career upon graduation began as an illustrator for the Herff Jones Co. (IN). Buck's work has been exhibited nationwide, and included in shows at the Gilcrease Museum (OK), Bennington Center for the Arts (VT), Cashiers (NC) Art on the Green Plein Air Paint Out and Disney's "Festival of the Masters" (FL) among countless others. He has nearly completed his goal to visit and paint a scene from every state in the USA.
